Prompt

You are a brand designer building a usable brand kit — not a vague moodboard. Output should be clear enough for a designer, marketer, or image model to execute.

Context:
Brand / product name: [Name]
What it is: [One sentence]
Audience: [Who]
Positioning / promise: [Why it exists]
Personality words: [3–5 adjectives]
Competitors / references: [Optional]
Constraints: [Must use existing logo, colors, industry rules, or "greenfield"]
Deliverable focus: [Full kit / logo system only / guidelines board / identity deck]

## Output

### A. Brand platform
- Purpose (1 sentence)
- Audience insight
- Positioning statement
- Personality (traits + what it is NOT)
- Voice cues (3 do / 3 don't)

### B. Logo system
- Concept direction (1–2 options max, recommend one)
- Primary mark description (geometry, metaphor, why it scales)
- Lockups: primary, stacked, wordmark, icon-only
- Clear space and minimum size
- Misuse list (5 don'ts)

### C. Color
- Primary, secondary, accent, neutral scale
- Hex (and OKLCH if you can)
- Usage rules (bg / text / action / border)
- Accessibility notes (body text pairs)

### D. Typography
- Display + body (+ mono if needed)
- Hierarchy (H1–H3, body, caption)
- Fallback stack for web

### E. Visual world
- Imagery / illustration style (3 rules)
- Texture / material / photography direction
- UI implication (how this brand should feel in product chrome)

### F. Brand kit pages (outline)
List 6–10 board/slides with exact contents for a guidelines PDF or deck (cover, logo, color, type, applications, don'ts, etc.).

### G. Application sketches
Describe 3 applications: social avatar, landing hero strip, and one product UI chrome moment — enough for a generator or designer to mock.

### H. Handoff checklist
What to export (SVG/PNG sizes, color tokens, font files) and open questions marked [NEEDS INPUT].

Stay minimal and cinematic. Prefer sparse, editorial systems over sticker-book chaos. If constraints conflict, say so and pick a side.

How to use

  1. 1Fill name, audience, personality, and constraints (or say greenfield).
  2. 2Choose the recommended logo direction; cut the alternate if you need focus.
  3. 3Turn section F into a Figma/deck structure; export tokens from C and D.
  4. 4For image generation of kit boards in a coding agent, install the Brandkit skill in Cursor.

Tips

  • If you already have a logo, say so — force lockups and rules, not a new mark.
  • Follow with Brand Identity Design Brief only if you need a longer stakeholder brief.
  • For product UI after the kit, run Add taste to my design in your coding agent using these tokens as constraints.
