Why we built this
AI products fail in predictable ways. Users over-trust a wrong answer. Agents act without asking. Chatbots hide what they can and cannot do. Most design resources still treat AI like a normal app with a message box added on. That gap is what we are trying to close.
AI UX Playground is a living reference catalog: named patterns with live demos, screenshot teardowns of ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Gemini, plus prompts and agent skills you can use in your own workflow. Everything here comes from studying what shipped products do, not what a blog post guessed they might do.

How we work
We are opinionated about clarity over completeness. Every pattern says when to use it, when not to, and what goes wrong if you skip it. Teardowns show dates so you know how fresh the evidence is. We credit skill authors and link to sources. We would rather publish fewer pages that hold up in a design review than hundreds of thin ones.

Is the site free to use?
Yes. Everything on the site is free to browse. You do not need an account. Patterns, teardowns, prompts, skills, and guides are all open. See access.md if you are building an agent or crawler integration.
Can I cite or link to pages?
Please do. Link back to aiuxplayground.com when you cite us. Individual agent skills may carry their own licenses, so check each skill source before redistributing SKILL.md files.
How is content updated?
We update patterns and teardowns when major AI products ship meaningful interface changes. Guides and glossary terms show a last-updated date when we refresh them.
